Welcome!
I am a researcher in the Departmet of Sciences at the University of Roma Tre. I work at the interface of plant community ecology, invasion biology and functional ecology.
My main research interests include the determinants of plant invasions across spatial scales, the impacts of invasive plants and the mechanisms driving community assembly and species co-existence.
Up to date I have studied these mechanisms mainly in grasslands, Mediterranean coastal dunes and alpine environments. I am also interested in the conservation biology of these habitats in the face of global change.
